Court of Arbitration for Sport at the NOC of Ukraine

 

The Court of Arbitration for Sport under the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine (SAC under the NOC of Ukraine) – is an independent permanent arbitration court that resolves disputes that arise in the field of sports or in the field of tangential pre-sports activities and the development of sports. Formed by the Executive Committee of the NOC of Ukraine in 2016, registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine in 2018. Acts in accordance with the Laws of Ukraine «On Arbitration Courts» and «On Physical Culture and Sports».

 

The SAS under the NOC of Ukraine considers disputes in all cases when subjects in the field of physical culture and sports and/or other persons have agreed to submit them to the SAS for consideration.

 

CAS at the NOC of Ukraine sub-departmental cases regarding economic and other interests of subjects of sports and physical culture (in particular, disciplinary disputes, disputes related to violations of Fair Play ethical norms and rules by athletes; disputes regarding sponsorship contracts; disputes arising from statutes and regulations of sports federations).

 

The SAC at the NOC of Ukraine also considers cases regarding the appeal of the decision of a federation, association or body in the field of sports in the order of appeal proceedings.
